Thousand Trails Idyllwild - Coming from North Orange County

Hi all, I am going to Thousand Trails Idyllwild this weekend. This is our first time driving to this place. How is the road condition? It appears that Highway 73 then North 243 is the best bet. We ...

I would assume you are aware of the long, steep climb up into Idyllwild from the north or east. There are some fantastic views dropping back down to the lowlands though.
