The roads you mention are good. But the best route depends on where in Yellowstone you are staying. If in Fishing Bridge, you may want to go back to through Cody, down to Thermopollis, and catch the interstate at Casper.
If you top of with diesel before going into Yellowstone, you shouldn't have any need until you get to the interstate, regardless of your route. Don't rule out of getting fuel in the park at Fishing Bridge. Last time there it was only 10 cents more per gallon than I paid in Cody so very reasonable.
