To Leadville, Co
I am going to Leadville mid-March,and pulling a 33ft fifth. Is either hwy 24 or 91 ok. I will be on I70 going south to Leadville.

As noted, mid March can be very snowy.
As for the route, either one is fine. You don't say where you will be the night before. If you're coming from the west, take US 24. Coming from the east take CO 91. To do 24 if you're coming from the east or 91 if you're coming from the west means you add Vail Pass to the equation.
