Hi Turtle,
I'll be doing enough solar to run my air conditioner for less than that $2000.
A 2k inverter is about $355.
800 watts of panels should be enough price is under $1 per watt now. Daily harvest would be in the range of 270 amp-hours
He has four batteries. Another two would be an asset but not entirely required.
The residential fridge will use about 100 amp-hours per day. During the daylight hours the solar will essentially directly run the Fridge. The excess power will return the battery bank to 100% state of charge.
An absorption fridge uses about 480 amp-hours per day (on 120 volts).
His other draws are miniscule compared to the Fridge.

Unless prices have really plummeted recently, $2000 isn't even close to what it's going to cost you if you're going to run a refrigerator and all the other stuff in a 36' 5er. one of the things that you need is enough battery capacity to last overnight.
