Go for a little balance. Keep solar to 200 to 500 watts just to reduce generator time.
Assuming you already have a 120v compressor fridge you will need to go big solar or run the generator. Solar would just be to reduce generator time. But I could see skipping solar entirely.
I recommend at least to have power protection, some extra batteries, and I assume you have an inverter to run the fridge. If the power protection shuts down power you have the option to run the generator or have a battery charger that accepts a wide voltage range. Might focus on these options vs solar.
