Tofino - Vancouver Is.
Would like good camping recommendations in Tofino. We want electric and water hookups at a minimum. Planning to head north either later this month or in May.

You've been warned about BC-4? It gets a little narrow and tricky a couple places, like the speed-limit is 30 kph - 18 degree mountain roads,very crooked and low slow 30 kph.curves.Beautiful area,just got back from there.Enjoy.

X2- There are plenty more lovely places there without hookups.
However last summer I had a hard time finding an open reservation anywhere near Tofino. Wound up at Sproat Lake, which is a superb forest CG. - Make reservations, it is often very busy. All of the campgrounds mentioned are good, although I have just stayed at Crystal Cove.
Prices over there tend to be a bit higher than the rest of the Island. - I have driven that road many times and i could not imagine driving on it with my 29ft 5th wheel. Usually made a day trip there from Parksville.
