I mention this because increasingly toll roads and bridges use some form of electronic tolling. Dropping quarters in a toll booth basket is an old pleasure that's disappearing.
That doesn't work on California toll roads and bridges unless you have a Fasttrak account. If you don't have an account you'll will get the bill, but it will be $100 instead of $5.
