Tolls by Tulsa
Please tell me it isn't true... coming from MO to TX on 44 and I hear it's gonna cost me 40 + $ in tolls. True? Options for getting around if so?

If you are planning for traveling I-44 from Missouri to Oklahoma City, I seem to remember it being $11.00 from state line to Tulsa (Will Rogers turnpike) and another $11.00 from Tulsa to OKC (Turner turnpike. And another $12.00 or so if you go all the way to Wichita Falls, TX. That would be for towing a two axle trailer. Toll calculators are available on-line by googling Oklahoma toll roads.
You could go south on US 69 at Big Cabin to avoid much of the tolls.
