I'm also on Long Island. The financial beatings never end! They just keep coming at us. I will also leave when done with career. It's a shame because I do like living here. Great beaches, close to NYC, etc. I'm new to RV'ing. Bought trailer with proceeds from sale of a boat last year. Swapped a 14 year old boat for a brand new trailer! Long Island great for boating. We just got tired of it. You can go way more places with a trailer than with a boat. And talk about fuel costs! It's not mpg but gallons per hour.
