I was stationed at Fort Dix, NJ, Fort Monmouth, NJ, Fort Devens, MA (Ayre, MA), and Fort Belvoir, VA and Manassas, VA, and traveled the Eastern Seaboard as much as I could from Florida to Main. This was between the years 1982 and 1990. We took a vacation back to Fort Belvoir in 1990 to show the kids where they were born, and even back THEN I though the toll roads (especially New Jersey) were horrid, crazy, ridiculous, and COSTLY. If I still lived in that area, I'd just have to move! Oh ... I did move!
