This thread reminded me of the first time I drove a motor home from Fl. to Boston. It was back in 1995. I had just gone over a bridge going into N.Y. state and hadn't noticed what the toll was. I got to the toll booth and the attendant told me it was $5 (maybe $3.50 it was a long time ago). I just blurted out are you shi**ing me ? He got a chuckle and told me there was no charge going in the opposite direction. Whatever it was, I thought it was exorbitant for way back then. I can't believe what you folks are paying for tolls up there now. :E
