- n7bsnExplorer... and living in it while traveling? Doesn't sound like fun. Certainly not one campground will be open, your tanks and water lines could freeze (we are talking about lows to -40 or more).
Be prepared to park, maybe for days, waiting for the roads to clear after a storm.
On one hand commercial traffic travels that road year around. But they are used to this, have large fuel tanks, carry emergency gear, carry chains and use them.
Both Alberta and BC (I'm not certain about the territories) would require you to carry (and use as needed) chains, maybe even drag chains on the trailer.
Me, I grew up in that country and doubt I'd try it. But then I wouldn't try to stay in an RV in an Alaska winter either.
