None intended, PackerBacker (I'm a 50 year PackerFan too!). I was referring to the riverfront area, around the Ste Famille. Some really elegant old homes along there. I doubt they're in my budget!
Many of the old stone buildings date back to the 1700's and most of the area is protected under heritage regulations. You can still find the odd stone house for just under $1M but renovations are a whole different animal. Too rich for my blood! :B
When I was a kid in the late 50's, my Mom would attend the old Ste-Famille Catholic church along the waterfront and drag me with her. My Dad, being Protestant, would bring his fishing gear and fish off the park across the street! :E
