I would recommend staying at Kiptopeke. You may find sites are long enough to stay hooked up. First Landing is farther from your route and there will be traffic. Just don't leave Kiptopeke too early Friday, after 9 you should be fine. Sting Rays is a good place to eat.
Yup, Been to stingrays a few times over the years and I'm planning on hitting it up for late lunch or dinner before we head over the bridge.
We already booked First Landing even though it's a bit off route. But being that my next day check in is at 1pm in the OBX and looks to be a 3 hour drive. I have plenty of time and will be in no rush.
