Too bad we can't divert some of the water from the Poudre and Big Thompson over to the other side...it's been flooding Weld and Morgan Counties, the South Platte is running bigger than usual.
It's ironic that we pump water over from Lake Granby to fill the reservoirs on this side, and those very same reservoirs are full to overflowing this year. There's been no drawdown at all so far. The 2 lakes by my house, Boyd and Horseshoe are the fullest they've been since I've been in my current house, and that's 11 years.
