The number of plows have been cut back, so there is often too much time between passes of a plow as it makes its rounds.
When that happens, all it takes is that first vehicle to get stuck or in an accident and then it dominoes and the plows can't get there.
I know some plow drivers. THEY aren't slacking. Just not enough of them when needed.
And our "governor" is quick to declare a "State of Emergency" for opiods (don't get started on abuse of authority), but won't call out construction equipment to clear roads when lives are at risk over 24hrs. The Buck stops with him.
Our state has so much potential and so much to offer- if we could just get the clueless to step down or out of the way and let competent folks take charge.
It's not political, it's observations. ;)
Stay safe and remember to visit our state parks, they are still quite good ;)
