Travel route

Leaving Palm Springs heading North, 40' class a with toad. Looking to go a senic route.
Anybody travel on the Hwy 1 up to Monteray? Looks like a very nice way to see the ocean and stay off the I5 corridor,less mountain passes. Any comments would be help full in planning our return to Wa.

    40 footer with a toad on Hwy 1 north of San Francisco....better have strong hands and steady nerves....it will be an, "adventure," for sure

    Note: not sure if it is even legal for that much length.

    US 101 north of San Francisco isn't that scenic. and the coastal highway is a nightmare for big vehicles.

    we did the coastal route north of LA (The PCH) and it was pretty nice ride. but with the rain there are mud slides. So ??
