Suggest you look at getting off in Delaware and take Rt. 301 on the eastern shore of Maryland across the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge and Rt. 50 over to Rt.95 south. No tunnel, relaxed drive. Search routes on this site someone has already mapped it out. Check out the Rt. 95 delays in Northern Va., they are widdening the road again and do have possible lane closures.
