A) There is a section called RVing in Canada and Alaska and there have been several threads this year in that section on Newfoundland and Labrador.
B) Having lived in Newfoundland for 24.5 years ending in 2008, I well know that said island has sparse population. The Trans Canada is a major highway most of it at 100 clicks.
Yes, the frost heaves leave after the ice has come out of the Strait of Belle Isle and the repairs after that. So, you may want to slow down for your drive up the Northern Peninsula to see the ice bergs at this time of the year.
& yes, there are very interesting logging roads for those who like exploring.
& I certainly can make suggestions for those who expect to be able to drive 100 clicks with only 3 inches clearance, but for heavens sakes kindly think ----------- Newfoundland is a modern province, it's not an isolated 3rd world country, as said wording implies.
