traveling across kentucky

Would most people here recommend traveling I64 across the state of Kentucky or would the bluegrass parkway be better? Myself and DW and DD, DS, & DD will all 5 be traveling from VA to Owensboro for the airshow since Hurricane Flo just knocked us out of going to Ocean Lakes!

    The parkway is going to be slower, but scenic. The interstate will be much faster, but not quite as scenic. It really depends upon what you want.

    The parkway would be much more interesting. It's 4 lane divided. You will also stay out of Louisville, which is a big plus.
