From East Glacier, take route 89 north to pick up route 464 at the north end of Lower St. Mary Lake. 464 is non-mountain driving to get you to Browning and route 2. route 89 south from East Glacier is twisty/curvy and not so good for a large RV. IIRC, route 2 top out at somewhere between 5,000 and 6,000 feet. No steep grades.
Yeah, you are right. The map I looked at didn't have a route designation for GTS road I jumped to a conclusion.
