Traveling from East Glacier to West Glacier
We will be going to Glacier park this summer. I'm trying to figure the best route to get from East Glacier to West Glacier. The gps takes us on route 2. We have a 43' MH towing a Jeep. Is Route 2 ...

Going to the sun road is restricted to vehicles less than a certain length, and less than 7' wide, and something like 8' wide when including the mirrors!
I did get from West side to the east side. And then drove to Yellowstone. It was back in 1994, and I do not recall any problems with the highway, it was south of Glacier NP.
On my trip in 2006, I went to Glacier NP, and took my minivan over the pass, then back to the east side. It is a great drive in a small car. Make sure that you lock out overdrive, and use '2' gear when required to slow the car without overheating the brakes. I did not go to West Yellowstone on that trip, and returned to Yellowstone a week later!
Had a great time on both trips!
