Have driven the route a couple of times with our MH. No clearance problem at the tunnel. Just drive the speed you are comfortable with when going thu the tunnel. One grade with possible snow at the CO/NM border. Watch the weather and cross in good weather. El Paso & Houston easiest to travel thu Sunday morning. Plenty of places to stop at long the way. Did find the East Coast truckers were not friendly towards RVs, IMHO. Got pulled over once by a Alabama Good Old Boy, just checking us out. Found it funny, two older persons in a MH pulling a car trailer with a BMW. Still not sure what he wanted. Let us go after questioning if we had guns on board and what kind. When we drove the route in a car years back, everything was closed on Xmas so make sure you have a place to stay, fuel and food. Weather can turn cold/cool until you get to mid-Florida. WE did enjoy the trip each time.
