We live in N. FL and bought our RV in Houston TX. Took I-10 there and back. It is the most awful road through Texas and Louisiana I have ever been on. Back in Mississippi and FL is fine. We will avoid I-10 when heading west pass Mississippi if at all possible. Just food for thought.
