I find that the mattress never warms up if the bedroom area spends all day in low temps. If you separate the cab with a blanket during the day the mattress will feel like a lump of ice when you get in it. An electric mattress pad or electric blanket set on high a few hours before bed time will fix that. My wife and I call that "cooking the bed".
