Cold is subjective. We can have beautiful weather in September 60/70s. The vast majority of campgrounds are open until late September to our Thanksgiving weekend, the second weekend in October.
Not sure when you are on PEI but if you are here Sept 15th-18th, you will be able to partake in this if you love seafood.
