Trip from Austin area to Santa fe
We are using a Nissan Xterra pulling a 21 foot passport, planning a trip to Santa Fe, NM next may any suggestions as to the route an a campground while there for 2 weeks.

I highly recommend the detour to stay a day or two to explore but may not be worth it just to park for the night. The Caprock is an interesting place to hike and explore. Palo Dora Canyon is also an exciting place to explore. Check it out when you have time to take it all in.
