I can't help with campgrounds, because if we are in striking range of Cincinnati, we stay at the FMCA.
Have you been to the USAF Museum in Dayton? Plan at least 3 hours. Plenty of room to maneuver the rig in the lot. There are other Wright attractions, Houses and such.
If you red-road over to I-69 from there, there is the Cord, Auburn and Duesenburg Museum in Auburn. It shares a parking lot with the National Truck Museum.
We will be going south for an event in the spring and plan to stop at the "Gone with the Wind" Museum in Atlanta in spite of the terrible traffic. A museum of Civil War Ships in Columbus (GA) and a Medical Museum in Burmingham and maybe a few more.
