As a REAL warning do not drive south out of Kings Canyon by way of Sequoia NP if you are over 22 foot. It CAN be done in a longer MH/TT but you WILL be on the other side of the road in the hellish switch backs.
Gale - sounds like you had a great trip. I remember looking at the route in and out of Kings Canyon and not only did it take me a day out of our way, but the road kind of looked like you describe - hellish! Just good info for anyone. Coming from the East Coast, the ascents and descents of the West are a true concern for me. Thank you again!
