Just check the weather. Cajon Pass between Victorville and San Bernardino has closed as early as November before. Usually only for a couple of hours, but the traffic volume makes for a real mess. There's a good (not great) RV park called Desert Willow at the Hesperia off ramp were you to get caught. More than snow I watch for wind advisories.
