Kidnappings and human trafficing are huge down there. A friend of mine, her nephew went down to visit family and was abducted by the cartel. He was one of many being held and was part of an ongoing joint investigation between the FBI and Mexican Federalis. It took a couple months, but they finally conducted a sting operation and resuced the victims. Some of them didnt make it. Some lost body parts through the ordeal due to families not coperating with the cartel.

Yeah, Mexico. No thanks.
