Great boondocking spot in Tamiahua, about 42 kms north of Tuxpam. They now have a bridge that takes you to the barra de arena and you can spend the night there. Before, it was a chalan that took you there and we couldn't get the trailer on it because the boat sat too low. We stayed on a side street across from the barra. Nice little town with lots of good local restaurants. We passed through Tuxpam and stayed at the Neptuno rv park on the Costa Esmeralda. San Rafael is nearby and is a french colony where they still speak French today and was a roof tile making facility started back in the 1800s. Great place to spend the winter and your post has prompted us to think about it for this winter.
