Just took that exact route and drove through there on April 12th, this past month now.
To say it was torn up for road construction is kind of understating the short mess one goes through.
35 MPH top speed, and only a complete fool would try to drive faster than that. No guardrails and huge drops offs from just outside the driving lanes.
Appears they are attempting to straighten some of the obviously sharp curves through that area, as one can plainly see the new roadbeds in place to replace the curves.
I am really not sure I would take my fiver through there right now. It is 35 feet, so comparably sized to yours. But on some of those curves, I am not sure one could turn while keeping the fiver within the same lane. And, considering any on-coming traffic, well the problem potential exists.
Again, the immediate drop offs just adjacent to the east bound driving lane, sans guardrails, scared the heck out of the wife. And they drop a LONG ways.
I was driving just my dually with truck camper loaded, and felt there were no problems at all with the reduced 35 MPH limits through there. Most times I was going slower than that.
But towing a large fiver through there right now would give me second thoughts.
