Reminds me of the heated arguments that went on regarding the Nicaraguan Panama canal. Reading the newspapers and pliable readers and believers of the wacky pipe dream the gullible would believe ships were dropping anchor offshore to be first in line.
Then there's rumors of UBA Diesel in this DF periferico station then that periferico station. Pemex ships 50,000 liters of USA UBA to Veracruz by tanker, it's trucked to DF for testing and analysis, a small article appears in Excelsior, a non Spanish speaking gringo reads it and WHAM, there be UBA all over the place in hard to find indiscriminate gasolineras.
