So let me make sure I understand your position. You are taking the word of an Air Canada gate agent as being authoritative based on the reporting of a newspaper reporter which may or may not be accurate. I would suggest that an airline gate agent is not likely to be a reliable authoritative repository of knowledge regarding the interpretation of the Canadian border access laws. What was likely a stupid mistake does not in any way support your assertion regarding what passport an individual with dual citizenship and dual passports should present to a border official upon requesting access to Canada.
