If you want weather July August and September, but that's not a given. May tends to be colder and wet but June less so. Don't come in April. Our seasons generally seem to lag the calendar 6 - 8 weeks. This means when the mainlanders are having a great sunny warm April-May our spring type weather lingers. Likewise in the fall when the mainlanders are having snow we often have beautiful warm (for the season) sunny weather.
