While shopping air tours, I found myself wondering how they handled poor visibility. Based on your comments, I guess if they can fly they will take us. Thanks for the tip on delaying booking based on visibility.
There's a fly-in fishing and sightseeing service that runs a couple of radial Beavers off Longmere Lake in Soldotna. In the morning they ferry folks out to fishing camps and bring them back in the afternoon. There's also a flight service that runs off Mackey Lakes just east of Longmere (or off Bob's old homestead airstrip) but I'm not sure what they fly. I know they do sightseeing trips to the areas were the bears are feeding in the rivers though.
