If our world would come crashing down because the trip got shorted, changed, or even aborted, we would not be setting out on this adventure. Getting there (or trying to get there!) is part of the experience.
I am new to RVing, but I've been boating for over 30 years. Therefore, I expect things to break. One of the reasons we are purchasing a truck conversion is their commercial truck foundation. Parts availability will, hopefully, be better than some. I'm going to get a full service with oil samples analyzed, new tires, partially fill a compartment or two with filters, commonly replaced parts, and tools, pay up the roadside assistance program(s), pack my sat phone and go.
