Thanks all for your feedback. Sounds like 3rd gear won't cut it for the initial down slope and that is fine. And once we are thru the steep section, we'll just take our time, although I do understand what's been said about feeling like you need to maintain speed to not be a problem for the people behind you. I haven't decided yet if I am going to drive thru to our stop in Bothell or if I might make a stop in Leavenworth to take in a day or two there. I've heard it's a neat place to walk around. Either way, it's not going to be a hurried trip. I'm looking forward to it.
