US 285 Ft. Worth to Amarillo
What is the road like as I am driving a 38' Class A with a tow? Also, any RV parks along the way.

Yeah, it is US 287. A very good highway. We take it every year on our annual trip to Colorado. Four lane divided and bypasses all small towns between Decatur and Chillicothe. Then you start getting some lower speed limits and traffic lights thru the towns.
Easy day's drive to Amarillo. Don't know that you need any place to stop between Ft Worth and Amarillo. Around 5 hours driving time plus stops.
