US 285 Ft. Worth to Amarillo

This is our preferred route to Colorado, though we join US 287 at Henrietta, Texas. We almost always stay at the Ole Cotton Gin RV Park at Goodlett, Texas. We have stayed several times at Rocking A in Vernon. Either of these is only an overnight for us. Somewhat prefer the Ole Town Gin for an overnight. Starting in Fort Worth, Amarillo might be a better place to stop. We have stayed most often at the Overnight RV park in Amarillo.
