US 83 through southern South Dakota

Question

Has anyone been on this road recently? I'm looking specifically at the section from Mission to the Nebraska state line. I didn't see any Covid checkpoints listed on the SD DoT website but did see some news articles about the Rosebud reservation implementing something after some other tribes did.
