US 89 near Page

Question

We are thinking of a side trip to Lees Ferry (Marble Canyon).
The last time we were in this area (2013) 89 was closed and the repair was going to take several years. We had to do a detour to get to Page
So to get to Lees Ferry from Gold Canyon any problem? Then to go to Monument Valley from Lees Ferry ?

Both 89 and 89A are open for business. Lee's Ferry is on 89A. It's a lovely campground.

If you're coming from Flagstaff head north on 89 and west on 89A.

From Lee's Ferry to Monument Valley reverse your route back to 89 and take 160 to Kayenta, AZ and pick up 163 to Monument Valley. Refuel in Tuba City.

Except for construction on 89 it was fine last year when we went through.
