US Hwy 51 in Illinois

It is a route I use to travel from Bloomington to Christopher IL for annual motorcycle rides.

I have never towed my fiver that far down Rt. 51 due to all the small towns and tight turns in those small towns. But it is a "designated" truck route so I could if I wanted.

Haven't driven in a few years but was a good easy drive in the past. It is four lane from Bloomington to south of Decatur around Moweaqua or Macon.

We traveled a small section last July from Vandalia to Sandoval. It was just easy pessy as they say. Good two lane road then.
