US Route 36 across Kansas & US Route 34 Colorado

Has anyone traveled these routes from St Joe, Missouri to Loveland, CO? I am in trip planning mode to Boyd Lake State Park, CO and RMNP. and was wondering what this road is like rather than traveling ...

Flat, IMO pretty, little traffic in most areas, plenty of fuel stops.......a breath of fresh air.....away from the high speed interstate and all the aggressive drivers.
