US Route 36 across Kansas & US Route 34 Colorado

Has anyone traveled these routes from St Joe, Missouri to Loveland, CO? I am in trip planning mode to Boyd Lake State Park, CO and RMNP. and was wondering what this road is like rather than traveling ...

We enjoyed our trip on US-36 from Hannibal West. There is a considerable amount of four lane and the only one lane each way limited access highway I have ever encountered. A number of the towns have parks that allow camping. some have hookups. This website may help you plan your adventure on US-36.
