US to require COVID Testing for International Flyers

Biden announced today that anyone flying into the usa will not only need a covid test they must quarantine for 14 days.

Today Trudeau announced that the need for a Covid test before flying back to Canada will apply to flights from all nations. Of course he also stated that these restrictions could change and that Canadians could be left stranded. How kind!

They can't stop a Canadians from entering canada, but they can stop them from transiting the US

....pertaining to flights only (not ground vehicle crossings), my understanding is that outbound flights (say, from Canada) are (inextricably) tied to filling as much as possible the return flight. ie if no return passengers are allowed to board the return portion of the flight, the airline will cease to fly to that airport.

Bus,ship,boat,vehicle and foot not permitted. Air is the only travel method that is allowed.

That is true, but they may have to go by bus. If the US will let them across.

There are reports here in the states that there are fraudulent COVID tests. I can only imagine how many there are in Mexico. Buyer beware!
