Seniors do get a discount Monday to Thursday (1/2 rate). I think they used to travel for free (but not their vehicle).
We traveled on a Wednesday and got the $2 discount on length, but did not get a senior discount. - Pangaea_RonExplorerThere are several ferry routes to/from Vancouver Island?
Victoria, BC to Port Angeles, WA - Blackball Ferry
Anacortes, WA to Sydney, BC - WA State Ferry
Vancouver Island to Tsawwassen, Horseshoe Bay - BC Ferries
The OP posted in another thread about taking the ferry from Vancouver (Island I assume?) to Port Angeles, WA for a trip around the Olympic Peninsula. - OrionExplorerThe clicky in the third post gives the details.
- Pangaea_RonExplorerWe need more information. From where to where? There are many route options?
Washington State Ferries for the Anacortes, WA to Sydney, BC route offers a 50% discount for RV's on certain routes? - mayo30ExplorerThink it only applies to B.C. seniors.

- afraid_of_bearsExplorerIf you're talking about the ferry to Vancouver Island, I know of no breaks on Thursdays. We are forced to use the ferry to visit family and find the rates to be ridiculous. JMHO
Using the Washington State ferry into Sidney from Anacortes Washington is much cheaper if you are coming from that direction.
