Villa Corona Mexico Hotels

Question

We stayed many times in our motorhome at Chimulco and thought there was a small hotel across the street. We are looking for a hotel besides at Chimulco now that we no longer have a MH. If anyone has a telephone number or information for a hotel in the area please send it along.If they have done any upgrades to the rooms at Chimulco would be interested but were never really impressed with what we had seen while we were there.

We rented a cabin at Chimulco this past March for 2 nights. It was fairly expensive, as compared to the other hotel rooms we rented while in Mexico. It had a basic kitchenette, television, no ac but a nice ceiling fan. We were the only ones occupying any of the cabins those two nights.
I don't remember seeing a hotel across the road - there may have been one but I don't recall.

I think there is one down the street and on the lakefront, but i can't remember the name. Send an email to Mike who stays there all winter & is there now, to check it out for you.
