Wagon Masters
Posted with moderator permission:
The caravan company I am doing customer orientations for is looking for more Wagon Masters. They have been picked to operate Airstream Club caravans in Mexico and are looking for more leaders. I think they need a Wagon Master for a 30 day Copper Canyon trip next January 22 with an optional add on, and also one of the Airstream trips of 60 days. Anyway, they are going to run a 25 day training trip (free) on Nov 1st out of Nogales, which will go as far as Oaxaca. It will teach routes, RV park locations and procedures. RV park fees will be covered. Preference is given to people who have 1 or more of the following:
1) Previous RVing in Mexico experience
2) Previous Wagon Master experience
3) Basic Spanish skills
You have to be sociable of course. It is best if you have a small to medium size rigs. Trips are 30-90 days. The 90 day one requires a smaller rig. If it interests you, send me a PM and I will discuss it with you. This is not a job to make money, they are looking for people who love Mexico, and basically want their expenses covered, plus a bit more. Wagon Masters also get to go on tours. They also run some French tours, so if you are fluent in French that is another option. So far they only do the mainland, but Baja is probably in the near future for Airstream Caravans.
This company gives a lot of leeway to Wagon Masters to improvise
